About the Role:
We are currently looking for a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to take on a Private Practice role in the Yarra Valley and Warragul clinics.
Our client provides psychological assessment and intervention services to the Yarra Valley and Outer East suburbs of Melbourne, as well as West Gippsland. A values-based practice with values of Community, Strengths Focus, Sharing Knowledge, and Sustainability. Our client is a teaching clinic and provides mentoring and supervision to trainee therapists.
In this role, you will be working with participants of all ages to assess and support them through behavioural challenges with individual support plans and intervention strategies. Work with participants utilising a holistic, person-centred approach, collaborating with the person and their support team. Plan, monitor and review participant outcomes in line with NDIS funding, and help improve the overall quality of life of NDIS participants.
Work within a multidisciplinary team and provide direct community-based intervention and support.
This is a permanent full-time position, however part-time may also be considered.

About You:
- Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy Counselling or other relevant Allied Health field or BSP endorsement from NDIA
- Relevant associated registration
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Previous experience with neurodiverse and NDIS clients (desired)
- A passion for high-quality service delivery
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Strong crisis assessment and crisis management skills
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to work autonomously
- Highly organised and efficient
- Current driver's licence and own car
- Police Check
- Cleared Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Cleared NDIS Worker Screen Check
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
