As a Business Analyst at Sportsbet you will be working within a team and with other teams. You will act as a liaison for the business, UX and technology teams. You will translate business needs and technology capabilities into stories, acceptance criteria and manage responsibilities include:Be the interface of various teams. Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders using a variety of techniques. Provide steering guidance for initiatives that are exploratory in nature.Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to determine the most appropriate technical solution and provide analysis on trade-offs between usability, functionality, technical pattern and performance needs.Outputs analysis into high quality artefacts be it documentation or stories. Ability to execute BA responsibilities such as detailing business rules, performing decomposition and estimation, NFS analysis, stakeholder analysis, process analysis and modelling, create use cases, and charting the customer journey.Work closely with senior stakeholders in other teams to prioritise work, and to manage risks and dependenciesOwn and maintain the Initiative backlog – communicate the status of this backlog to stakeholders in and out of the team, perform high level discovery on items before being given to delivery teams, ensure prioritised items are ready for the team when neededAnalyse high level ideas, understand them and give them to delivery teams in deliverable slicesAssign value to work, reflect on what value has been achieved once delivered – influence others in and out of the team to have a value mindsetDefine and track outcomes for the Customer Experience Delivery teamProvide leadership to delivery BAs within the teamParticipate and lead the uplift of BA practices in the wider BA communityContribute to maintenance of the overall health of the BA capabilityCollaborate to create and evolve the BA capability standards and methodologyDefines acceptance criteria clearly, aligning technology, business, QA, non-functional, UX to an outcome.Live and breathe Agile ways of working: backlog grooming, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, retrospectives, mid sprint review, stories, sprints, Kanban, velocity, burndown charts are common terms to you.Active participant in the BA community to share.
