About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician (Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker or Speech pathologist) to join our Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) team. CDAMS provides timely and expert multidisciplinary assessment, diagnosis, treatment, support, referral and information for people experiencing undiagnosed cognitive difficulties and dementia. CDAMS runs as a monthly service at the Warrnambool Campus of South West Healthcare.
The clinic is staffed by Medical Physicians (e.g. Geriatrician) and Clinicians (e.g. Psychologist, Nurse Practitioner, Speech Pathologist, Neuropsychologist). The team is led by the CDAMS Clinical Coordinator. CDAMS is a sub-acute ambulatory care service and is funded under the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. CDAMS operates under a state wide model.
The CDAMS clinician role is a permanent part-time position.
Position overview Part-time (24 hours per fortnight), On-going position Warrnambool Campus Registered Nurse, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Speech Pathologist Grade 2 or equivalent Salary Range: $88,476 - 103,771 pro rata, plus superannuation What you bring As an experienced clinician you will bring a passion for multidisciplinary assessment, diagnosis, treatment, support, referral and information for people experiencing undiagnosed cognitive difficulties and dementia. You will bring demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
