This role is a permanent part-time position. It is 19 hours weekly with the ability to work additional hours. The hours span between Monday to Friday. during the day to work in with event planning and customer enquiries. Some nights and weekends are required occasionally for this role depending on business requirements.
A day in the life
As part of our Conference and Events team you will play a role in bringing clients visions to life, through planning and coordinating during the lead up to events. With a focus on corporate events, the resort also plays host to social events, exhibitions, dinners etc.
This will range from producing event orders, and working with the kitchen, AV and operations team to ensure a successful outcome for client events. You'll be involved in event coordination through liaising with clients to determine event details and offering advice to reporting client feedback. You will prepare accurate and timely invoices and ensure RACV policies, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
You will be supported by your team and work closely with a broad range of internal departments and external clients.

We’re looking for…
- Previous experience with administration and supplier liaison desirable
- Sound understanding of hospitality industry in event, membership or accommodation areas
- A practical understanding of event management, the meetings & business events industry and financial management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Opera desirable
- Effective customer management and service standards
- A team player who displays initiative and a positive mindset
- High quality of work and attention to detail
