We provide therapy where it is most needed, including home, education and community-based settings.  Job Description We are looking for a Developmental Psychologist to join our NeuroRehab team with part-time availability of 3-4 days, however, if you're looking for a full-time capacity role, we would love to hear from you!  The home clinic will be based out of our Thomastown or Deer Park head office, providing clinic and community services to our North or West catchments. Working hours are negotiated, allowing excellent flexibility and a healthy work/life balance. As a Developmental Psychologist at NeuroJunior, you will be responsible for completing psychometric assessments and delivering psychological therapies, practical intervention, and positive behaviour support services to a caseload of paediatric clients with a range of developmental, genetic, acquired or progressive neurological conditions. You will utilise leadership skills to support our Psychology department whilst promoting psychology services and working alongside the Clinical Manager. There will be opportunities to support early career psychologists with supervision as the team grows. The Developmental Psychologist will join our dedicated Psychology team and will be working alongside our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy teams to provide multi-disciplinary intervention to support clients to meet their goals. Building skills in emotion recognition and regulation Providing early intervention and skills building for mood symptoms and disorders Working with people with comorbid diagnosis (mental health + neurological conditions) Providing child and parent education Capacity building for promoting independence, coping and resilience If desired, providing positive behaviour support services for children and families. Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants, along with some TAC-funded and privately funded clients. Clients typically present with a range of diagnoses including neuro-developmental diagnoses, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions and mental health conditions.  If you are an Educational and Developmental / Clinical / Health / Neuro / General Psychologist and have a passion and interest in child development and disability /neurological injuries don't hesitate to apply! Desired Skills and Experience Requirements Registration as a Psychologist (preferred endorsement as an Educational and Developmental/Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist/Health Psychologist) At least 2 years of experience in working with paediatric clients with neurodevelopmental, health or neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury Driver's license Three Covid-19 vaccinations Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening check prior to appointment. Previous experience providing services within an NDIS framework Previous experience in Positive Behaviour Support Current registration with AHPRA and Board Approved Supervisor Status (we are willing to assist with gaining supervisor status if not current)   At NeuroRehab we believe we have created a great team member support package.
