An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian – Senior (Emergency) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Manage workload to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic services within the Gold Coast Hospital Service Undertake high level nutrition and dietetic duties as the Dietitian - Senior Emergency, with a high degree of independence within the work unit Apply professional judgement to complex caseloads adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence/guidelines Contribute to clinical research activities within the area of nutrition and dietetics with demonstrated outcomes About you To be successful in this position you will required
A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution Be eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and Accredited Practicing Dietitian Blue Card Available to work Monday through Friday and take part in the weekend and on call rosters Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Temporary part time (up to 26/07/25, with possibility of extension, 60.8 hrs p.f.). Base salary ranging from $62.75 - $67.53 per hour About Us Nutrition and Food Services department provides leadership for effective and efficient Nutrition and Hydration management in conjunction with the key stake holders.
