About your new role
KBR’s digital agenda is a key priority; with initiatives in place for this to transform the way KBR, our partners and our clients’ present information and make informed decisions.
At a project level, the design team will be using the latest BIM, digital engineering and virtual reality technology as they design and document the removal of multiple level crossings and upgrading of stations across metropolitan Victoria.
The position will be a part of the project delivery team at the design and construction level and will be directly involved in coordinating the quality and on-time delivery of the design model and virtual design review process we have in place for the project.
This provides you with the opportunity to extend both your coordination and technical skills as part of a long-term program of works.
Who are you?
You are passionate about Digital Engineer and will have demonstrated background working in a consultant firm or similar within the engineering and construction sector.
You have strong people and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team to deliver quality service.
You will have the following skills and experience:
+ Associate Diploma / Diploma in Engineering OR a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
+ Experience in 3D modelling (12D/Bentley Open Suite/Autodesk products) and 4D coordination packages (Bentley Synchro, Fuzor, Navisworks, Revizto, iConstruct etc) Ability to manage and deliver diverse projects to high standard
+ Implementation and management of clash detection
+ Coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, including engineering, architecture, construction and specialty disciplines
+ Compliance with quality controls and relevant review and approval processes
