Elmhaven Hostel currently has multiple positions for Direct Care Attendants (Casual) who will assist in providing a direct client service to residents of the Residential Care Home.
We are looking for persons with a proven ability to work well within a team environment who have sound interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. You must be able to perform under limited direction and meet deadlines and timeframes. You will provide assistance to and co-operate with other staff and use discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
To be eligible to apply you must have completed an Australian Qualifications Framework Certificate III in Aged Care. Experience in providing a direct care service in a health related field and experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons essential.
