Focused on ROW acquisition for renewable energy development, this remote position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in securing Right-of-Way (ROW) for transmission and distribution projects to drive strategic growth for Atwell.
We are seeking a results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the Right of Way (ROW) and Transmission sectors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional business development skills and a proven track record of identifying and securing clients. They should thrive in a collaborative environment and be committed to fostering strong client relationships.
Strategic Growth & Business Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to expand Atwell's presence in the ROW and Transmission sectors, identifying high-value opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving continuous growth.Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and showcasing Atwell's expertise in ROW acquisition and project execution.Establish annual revenue targets and craft actionable plans to achieve them.Proactively identify and solicit potential clients within the ROW and transmission space, keeping stakeholders informed of new opportunities and client developments.Foster a continuous internal communication process to support business development efforts across the organization. Operational Excellence:
Manage project budgets and schedules for ROW and transmission projects, proactively analyzing variances and ensuring timely invoicing and collection.Guide and mentor a team, fostering their development and ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction. Professional Development:
Engage in continuous learning through professional development activities, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements, particularly those relevant to ROW and transmission. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in the ROW industry, with a proven track record in business development and land acquisition, particularly in the transmission sector.In-depth understanding of ROW acquisition principles and best practices, including landowner engagement, negotiation tactics, and legal requirements.Strong understanding of the transmission industry, encompassing the regulatory environment, permitting processes, community engagement strategies, and project execution best practices.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a diverse team.Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the United States. #LI-CF1
