Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities)
To be successful in this role you will:
Leadership and Management
Lead and manage a team of professional marketing and brand management specialists to ensure the delivery of services that achieve organisation (domestic and international) and whole of government business needs.
Provide effective leadership in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating marketing and brand management activities across variety of TIQ priorities, consistent with the strategic priorities of the organisation.
Foster a positive team culture, actively managing team members to continually develop, engage with risk, show personal courage and commit to action including through modelling these behaviours.
Actively contribute as a leader to branch strategic planning, operational planning, human resource management and financial management.
Technical
Provide expert advice on contemporary and effective marketing and brand management strategies that ensure the organisation is best positioned to communicate and engage with stakeholders on its strategic and operational objectives.
Provide conceptual and strategic advice to the Chief Executive Officer and executive leaderships team on marketing and brand management issues and on tactical opportunities to promote new initiatives and programs.
Lead, facilitate and support the continuous performance improvement of an inhouse digital and design team, through the adoption of emerging digital technologies and data to deliver greater efficiency in marketing services.
Provide specialist marketing and brand management services, including graphic design, editing, desktop publishing, print management, advertising, video/photography and distribution of printed materials.
Programs and Project Management
Drive growth in TIQ's domestic and international brand awareness with traditional and digital integrated marketing campaigns.
Facilitate the implementation of digital initiatives including website, optimisation, e-communications and social media.
Research trends and future direction of business management, particularly in respect to opportunities for improved service delivery through increased use of online technology and new marketing initiatives.
Partner and identify collaboration opportunities with internal stakeholders in the delivery of contemporary, innovative business focussed services and initiatives.
Stakeholder Relationships
Champion and strengthen collaborative relationships at all levels throughout the agency, encompassing the Brisbane Head Office, Queensland regional office network and International office network.
Develop, maintain, and leverage professional relationships, internally and externally, to enhance the value of marketing communication activity and brand awareness.
Represent TIQ on inter-departmental, national and industry committees and present and participate in key government and business forums relevant to subject matter expertise.How to apply
