A subsidiary of the Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) with a rich history in early childhood education. Licensed for 40 children over 2, providing stimulating learning spaces and fostering self-esteem through imaginative play. We seek an energetic and experienced ECE Kaiako with 2+ years of experience and a passion for child-centred learning. Strong communication skills are key for collaborative planning, engaging with whānau, and fostering inclusivity within our multicultural community. Effective planning, assessment, and documentation skills are essential for tracking tamariki progress and tailoring learning experiences. Commitment to bicultural practice is a must, upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Ideal Candidate:
Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Deep understanding of play-based learning and ability to facilitate engaging experiences. Excellent relationship-building skills to connect with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues. Proficient in ICT integration to enhance learning and teaching practices. Passionate about nature and sustainability, weaving these values into your teaching practices. Strong interest in supporting tamariki transition to school. Mandarin speaker would be an advantage.
