We are seeking an Executive General Manager (EGM) to lead two reputable training organisations within a broader and growing training group. Reporting into the Group CEO and a key member of the Leadership Team, the EGM will lead the operational delivery teams, drive quality processes and assure high levels of client and student satisfaction. With the businesses currently operating independently there will be opportunities to harmonise ways of working, systems and foster team collaboration to maximise effectiveness.This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally adept at developing and executing operational plans, optimising growth opportunities, and building and maintaining strong, high trust relationships with all stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to truly shape the future, working closely with a dynamic executive team and Board to influence the direction of the business. Working with an extensive range of products and services across funded and fee-for-service clients, you will be joining a national organisation with an ambitious growth agenda.About You
Demonstrated success at General Manager level, with a solid track record of driving revenue growth and building a reputation for quality and excellence
Experience includes comparable roles in professional human service organisations, including but not limited to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
Strong understanding of government contracts, procurement, and the complexities and compliance requirements within the VET sector
Commercially astute with a comprehensive business perspective
Proficient working cross-functional and collaboratively to develop practical and profitable solutions
Experience in building businesses, ideally within start-up or scale-up contexts
Demonstrated ability to work alongside Business Development specialists to drive profitable growth through effective sales, account management and new business mobilisation
Skilled in change management, with the ability to steer, optimize, and unify organisational transitions effectively
Strong process orientation with a focus on standardising and achieving efficiency across operations
Effective communicator and networker, who builds high levels of trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders
Relevant business degree or similar and preference for post Graduate qualifications
Capable of interstate travel as required.
