Our client is looking to appoint a Financial Controller, who will oversee a diverse portfolio of operations from the Port Moresby head office, potentially covering more than half a billion dollars in annual turnover. This position reports directly to the companies Directors and will require an individual with senior accounting and financial experience. Candidates experienced in running operations in Pacific Island nations are encouraged to apply, however this is not an essential pre-requisite.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you be able to demonstrate previous experience as a Financial Controller in a very high turnover business. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and formal qualifications in accounting including either CA or CPA credentials.
The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package consisting of a very generous retainer, plus performance incentives, vehicle, executive accommodation, insurances, club memberships, return flights, 5 weeks annual leave and various other inclusions.
