Job DescriptionWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
In this role you go beyond your technical abilities and will demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects, decision making, nurturing team members and autonomy. Your immense technical expertise will enable you to provide technical, and consultative guidance to both team members and clients.
In role you will have complete ownership end-to end web application development. You will liaise between various stakeholders to ensure communication between business and technology. You will proactively forecast any challenges at project level and take necessary steps to execute sustainable plans to ensure quality service.
This role will offer significant exposure to project and people management opportunities. You will develop deeper understanding of business & IT correlation, range of complex technical engagements, business strategies, innovative solutions across multiple IT segments and domains.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining
- Write clean coding for various front and back end web applications for clients - utilizing programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, C#, using MVC architecture ,Implement Web APIs, Cloud computing platforms like AWS / Azure, and SQL SERVER
- Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture with a good database knowledge of MS SQL Server 2016/2008
- Use and adapt existing web applications for apps and is familiar with web services concept using WebAPI
- Conduct cybersecurity, database patching and maintenance
- Develop simple and easy to use client displays and user interfaces - enabling them to get the most out of their web applications
Project management and leadership
- Working with clients and team members you’ll have end to end responsibility for projects assigned to you
- Researching, consulting, analysing clients needs, then presenting scalable solutions to clients including budgeting, and project timelines
- Lead IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical teams in determining project parameters, timelines, and deliverables
- Backlog management, prioritisation and leading the allocation of issues based on the SLA Requirements with the clients
- Ownership of testing following guidelines and quality standards of client and our protocols. This includes UAT.
- Leading the team with positive challenges, holding them accountable, and delivering on our purpose
Operations and Maintenance
- Drive operational excellence and innovation, leveraging new ideas contributing to business growth
- Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and scripting languages such as Python, PHP, Java Script, etc. so you can continually improve applications and complete cyber security patching
- Write, update and maintain technical documentation that is easy to follow
- Create operational procedures to improve efficiency and scalability
- Create end user documentation and enable our clients through training
- Follow all governance processes and procedures, including Change Approval Board (CAB) submissions and attendance
- Documentation of requirements, Solution Design, Functional / Technical Specifications
- All aspects of Software Product Testing and documentation
Requirements
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in related field of Technology
- Demonstrated significant experience (=> 8 years) working as a Full Stack Developer, IT Consultant or Senior Analyst or Senior Developer or Team Lead
- Hands-on Experience in developing bespoke web applications for clients utilising PHP and JavaScript
- Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes, in particular MySQL
- Experience implementing a range of technical solutions including automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Experience of new technology implementation & working on Agile projects
- Positive stakeholder relations and exposure to enterprise clients governance, domains and corporate best practises
- Excellent stakeholder engagement regarding project management & technical conversations
- Ability to independently oversee project delivery, forecast & minimize project risks and resolve project Issues
Familiarity with visitor management systems (VMS), security distributions systems (SDS) and Audit, Risk and Incident Systems (ARI) - Proficient understanding of programming languages such as python, C#, PHP, Java, JavaScript, AWS / Azure, etc.
