The Governance & Evaluation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Governance & Evaluation Unit. This position is responsible for the successful implementation of Taungurung’s Recognition and Settlement Agreement (RSA).

Key Duties
Manage staff to ensure a consistent approach and a coherent plan for the Governance and Evaluation unit
Oversee the development of governance systems to ensure adequate oversight and data for all TLaWC’s agreements
Manage the Governance & Evaluation unit by taking responsibility for budgeting, reporting and compliance associated with any grant funding associated with the responsibilities of that team.
Work collaboratively across TLaWC to drive a range of outcomes in relation to treaty, NRM, economic development and nation-building
Provide specialist technical advice and advocacy in engaging with a range of stakeholders on agreement management matters
Prepare high quality briefs, submissions, reports and presentations for TLaWC senior management and/or government and non-government partners
Take responsibility for leading work – policy, strategic and operational – that will advance Taungurung rights and interests through the form of agreements
As part of the management team, actively contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies, systems, procedures and processes that will ensure a best practice approach to everything TLaWC does.
