The Role: This role is an 8 month Parental Leave cover.
Reporting to the General Manager, your role will be working with clients to meet and exceed your sales targets and grow market share based on targets set yearly for your client portfolio.
GBD's are responsible for maximising revenue from new and existing client accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the Company. Specifically, you are responsible for:
Budget achievement Leading the Account Executives/Account Managers in your immediate teams Driving the QMS Media business and brand across individual Agency portfolio Seeking to increase QMS Media share of media revenue across the product suite of Outdoor, Canberra Airport and Street Furniture.
What you will be able to do: Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans regarding client base to achieve Sales revenue/sales targets; Create and maintain these plans, including growth targets, new business opportunities, retention and contingency plan; Achieve sales targets across our product portfolio (including Canberra Airport and Street Furniture); Ensuring delivery, accurate, timely reporting of weekly sales forecast; Regularly reporting actual performance to budget, with variance analyses and revised projections; Monthly reporting updates to NSW – Agency Sales Director on expense by person, budget allocation, new opportunities; Establish and maintain strong client relationships with key senior people in Advertising, Strategy and Media. Manage and support the Account Managers/Executives & Sales Coordinator to individually and collectively achieve their market/brand/channel specific sales targets; Budget delivery across agency patch; Ownership of agencies and tailored proactive pitches to drive agency deals; What are we looking for? Preferred degree in business, media, communications or other related fields; Previous experience in a similar role, including Media Sales, Outdoors Sales, Team Management & Media Agency Experience would be highly regarded. Ability to motivate and manage direct and indirect teams of employees across multiple functions. Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
