Guests are greeted with earthy tones from bronze light fixtures and on-trend leather headboards, inviting an ultimate atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Just the beginning of elevation to the experience at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport, we are excited to take our hotel to new heights.
We're looking for energetic and customer-focused Guest Services Agents to join our talented Front Office team part-time at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport.
Our Guest Services Agents are the face of our hotel and with your dynamic personality and personable communication skills you will create memorable guest experiences for our guests every step of the way - from arrival through to departure identifying and anticipating their needs.
This means you’ll be liaising directly with our valued guests face-to-face, creating a memorable check in and check out experience, process all payments & settling of accounts, responding to phone queries and reservations, coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness as well as demonstrating strong knowledge of the hotel & local area. You’ll create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home all whilst delivering on our passion to Make Guests Smile.
What we need from you!
+ Previous experience working in the hotel or travel industry would be an advantage
+ Passionate about delivering a positive and memorable guest experience
+ Experience with hotel systems such as Opera PMS preferred
+ Qualifications in Hotel Management would also be an advantage
+ Flexible availability – morning, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts are all part of the job
+ Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication and organisational skills
+ Show initiative and innovation to surprise and delight our guests
+ Ability to create genuine connections with guests and colleagues
+ A real Team player with a collaborative approach to work
+ Full Australian Drivers licence to assist with shuttle transfers and valet parking would be an advantage
+ Working Rights - you must have working rights in Australia
