Our client is an occupational health, hygiene, safety, and environmental consulting company with headquarters based inPerth. Their diverse portfolio spans industries including mining, oil and gas, government, rail, and commercial facilities.As our client is experiencing rapid growth, we are looking for Hygiene Technicians to join their diverse and agile Perth based team who can :- - Conduct sampling for fibres, dust, heavy metals (e.
g., welding fume) and volatile organic compounds following relevant standards or guidance documents. - Maintain and calibrate hygiene monitoring equipment to the required standard.
- Execute all practical monitoring programme requirements within the occupational hygiene field. - Learn to identify specific field hazards and appropriate control measures as required and develop the ability to provide professional guidance relating to the occupational hygiene field. As an entry level role, the ideal candidate would be working towards a science or related discipline qualification and would receive comprehensive training to develop the following: - Acquire professional, industry and contractual knowledge within an operational setting.
- Execute industry related monitoring programmes on multiple client sites. - Develop knowledge and execution of industry related equipment requirements. - Develop individual site based key stakeholder relationships.
- Develop further opportunities within client sites by identifying additional services that are required. - Undertake mentoring and coaching opportunities from senior leadership throughout the company. You will be a self-starter, be willing to engage with and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to focus on the task at hand are essential. A high degree of flexibility with working arrangements, with site travel according to client requirements, is required (FIFO).
