In addition is responsible for providing expert and timely advice on issues related to infection control and prevention for patients, staff and care givers. The Infection Prevention and Control Consultant develops, coordinate and evaluates the Infection Prevention and Control Program for all AWH campuses.. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity. Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse with post registration clinical qualifications. Post graduate qualifications in Infection Prevention and Control or working towards same with demonstrated recent experience in infection prevention and control. Demonstrated knowledge and application of risk management and quality improvement methodologies. High level operational and management experience within the health care setting with a proven ability to think strategically and execute objectives into tangible outcomes. Experience in leadership and management of change processes. Demonstrated organisational and decision making skills. Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
