The opportunity:
KBR is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to work within a Maritime project to enable the development of realistic project schedules and prepare project schedules using provided scheduling tools.
In this position you will:
+ Provide direct support to project managers by ensuring consistency in project schedule creation, management and advice
+ Assist projects with development of detailed work breakdown structures including WBS dictionaries, linking with KBR Finance to ensure alignment with SAP project establishment protocols.
+ Provide guidance to project managers/controllers on the establishment of project estimation processes, implementing processes that enable management visibility of effectiveness/accuracy.
+ Establish processes to enable management visibility of project performance with respect to accuracy of resource allocation, resource demand forecasts and resource utilisation down to the level of individual resources
+ Assist projects with development of project risk registers, providing coordinated reporting of risks to the Account Director.
As the ideal candidate, you will bring:
+ Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, accounting or related disciplines preferred
+ Experience in project scheduling and project controls including EVM
+ Experience planning and implementing project controls procedures
+ Experience performing as a Project Manager would be an advantage
+ Advanced skills in project scheduling and reporting software packages including Microsoft Project and Open Plan Professional
+ Experience in the use of accounting and spreadsheet packages
