The role
As a Personal Injuries Legal Assistant, you will be working for a Senior Solicitor. Duties involve dealing with clients, amending documents and correspondence, preparation and collating Briefs to Counsel, maintaining bring up lists, diary management, client enquiries, drafting notice claim forms, searches, drafting correspondence, arranging medical appointments, arranging compulsory conferences, obtain details of any refunds owing, billings, requesting clearances/charges from statutory departments and general administrative duties. You will work on MVA, PIPA and Workcover files.
Your experience
You will have a minimum of 2 years Personal Injuries or Insurance Litigation Legal Assistant experience. A minimum of 60 wpm and intermediate Word skills are also essential.
