With a strong focus on nurturing growth andcontinuous learning, you'll have the resources and guidance toexcel in your role and beyond.About the role andyouThe Manager Financial Governance and Planning will play acritical role in shaping the financial strategy of theorganization, driving financial performance, and providingstrategic guidance to senior management and the board of directors.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financialmanagement, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven trackrecord of success in leading finance teams and driving businessgrowth.Develop and execute the organisation's financial strategyin alignment with its overall goals and objectives.Oversee all financial functions, including financialplanning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, and internalcontrols.Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations tothe CEO, senior management, and the board of directors.Lead financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuringaccuracy, transparency, and alignment with strategicpriorities.Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifyingtrends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, includinginvestors, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatoryagencies.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accountingstandards, and best practices.Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering aculture of collaboration, innovation, and continuousimprovement.Drive process improvements and efficiencies within thefinance department to optimise resource allocation and enhanceproductivity.Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, andregulatory changes that may impact the organization's financialperformance.Prepare and present financial reports, presentations, andrecommendations to senior management, the board of directors,and external stakeholders as needed.Experience you'llneedTo be successful in the role, youwill require:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, BusinessAdministration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Extensive experience in financial management, with at least5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations,and best practices.Proven track record of driving financial performance andachieving strategic objectives.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-makingskills.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with theability to inspire and motivate teams.Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate andrespond to changing business needs.Ability to build strong relationships and collaborateeffectively with internal and external stakeholders.Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products,particularly Excel.Experience in computer based applications, includingfinancial software, databases and integrated financialmanagement systems.For a more comprehensiveunderstanding of the position's requirements, please refer to thePosition Description available on ourwebsite.ApplicationprocessClick applyand follow the promptsAttach yourcurrent resume and a cover letter to yourapplicationApplicationsclose
