Otraco (a subsidiary of BMSA) is a world leading provider of Earthmover and Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry. We are currently seeking an effective Manager People Culture & Governance to work across both businesses out of either our new BMSA Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park NSW or from our Otraco Office in Kewdale, Perth WA. This position will operate as an Otraco employee. Reporting to, and working closely with the Executive Manager PC&G, you will manage and inspire your team to provide an effective HR partnering service to all Australian business units. The Benefits Exposure across two leading businesses Health and wellbeing benefits Salary sacrifice options, novated leasing, discounts and support programs The Opportunity Permanent full-time role Oversee day to day HR operations of BMSA, Otraco and any other subsidiaries Manage a geographically diverse team; 50% in Perth, 50% in Sydney Develop and implement strategies designed to encourage a high performing, positive workplace culture Effectively lead your team of HR professionals to maximise delivery of service to internal customers across Australia Evaluate your team's performance to maintain appropriate skill and performance levels Supervise the provision of appropriate training and developmental activities for your team Develop, implement, and maintain company human resources policies and procedures in line with best practice and relevant legislation About You - Essential Capable in management and reporting of budgets Demonstrated experience operating as a strategic HR Partner and supporting significant business change programs Proven ability to construct and analyse HR data, identify trends and improvement opportunities, implement HR strategies and measure effectiveness Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of contemporary HR practice, including legislation and industrial instruments An effective collaborator with internal and external stakeholders Management experience and proven results in team empowerment Acceptance of regular interstate travel Current work rights in Australia About You – Preferred Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, preferably Human Resources Minimum 10 years experience in human resources within mining, heavy industry or related industries Join a global leader and access product discounts, career progression and training opportunities!
