In this role you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and subject matter expert advice and support to establish a low volume, high complexity guided weapons manufacturing capability. The Job:
Lead a technical team in:Developing a detailed proposal and Establishing themanufacturingcapability via a Systems Engineering process/mindset
Managing continuous operations: Operationally running and improving the production capability indefinitelyWork with the global internal stakeholder to:Build and maintain collaborative partnerships
Establish and maintain the knowledge and data transfer arrangements to establish the capabilityLead the provision of engineering support for the establishment of a local supply chain to support production efforts
Work in support of the Senior Program Manager to manage functional relationships to ensure successful Phase-in of production capability
Lead major reviews throughout the product lifecycle as well as participating in peer reviews
The Person:
Degree in Engineering Experience in establishing manufacturing capabilities
Experience in electro-optical systems and/or Guided Weapons
Experience in establishing and delivering complex programs, particularly involving manufacturing / production operations
Strong technical strategy development and program planning skills
Experience in tender responses and technical planning within a capture environment
Knowledge of project management coupled with experience in leading technical teams inPhase-in/Establishment/Transitionprogram phases
Strong relationship management skills highlighted by experience in teaming / subcontractor / prime relationships
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.
