In addition to its retail services, our client also operates parts, service, tyre and panel divisions, as well as a host of complementary associated enterprises.
Our client is looking to appoint a National Service Manager, who will focus on increasing the technical standard across the dealer group by actively working with staff and promoting ongoing training.
Your major accountabilities will include:
- Supervision of annual budgets including warranty and expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer technical policies.
- Training and development of national staff.
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure employee safety compliance.
- Monitor product faults and technical issues.
- Ensure technical bulletins are reviewed by staff.
- Support dealerships in meeting manufacturer and company goals.
- Review and monitor employee performance.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continual professional development.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you be able to demonstrate previous experience in marine products. You will also need to demonstrate:
- Automotive trained or 5 years automotive service management experience
- Sound mechanical and technical background.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and able to interpret data.
- Team building and collaboration focused.
