As a casual nurse at BRHS, you will be allocated to an area of need within the health service and you will work within a team to provide patient centred care to your assigned patients in a proactive and positive manner. BRHS casual nurses contribute to the nursing wards and units by providing excellence in nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures and achieve best practice using principles of evidence based practice to improve the delivery of patient care and service delivery. BRHS casual nurses work across a range of clinical areas including the acute and sub-acute wards, perioperative services, midwifery, emergency, home based services, dialysis and aged care. Post-graduate qualifications and substantial experience in areas of specialty will be utilised where possible.
