Be accountable at an advanced practice level for leading and coordinating the Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology Departments
An opportunity has become available for a Nurse Unit Manager (Radiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Monitor, coordinate, report and manage the nursing operational budget Facilitate training and guidance to advanced-level clinicians looking to build clinical specialties Develop a dynamic, flexible, resilient and skilled workforce through effective staff management and professional development opportunities Be responsible for reporting on and meeting key performance indicators About you To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Base salary ranging from $128 701 - $139 732 per annum About Us Radiology sits within the Infection Control, Sexual Health, Palliative Care, Infectious Diseases, Radiology, Rheumatology, Dermatology and Day Medical Unit (InSPIRD) in the Medicine Division. Care and services provided by Medical Imaging include General Radiology, Ultrasound scans/procedures, Computer Tomography scans/procedures, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology.
