A crucial part of the Advancement Unit at the University of Wollongong, this role is perfect for someone with a passion for relationship management and making connections.

About you
You will love finding, developing and maintaining relationships with donors and you love nothing more than a room full of potential donors that you haven’t met yet. You have a positive and collaborative attitude paired with bucket loads of initiative! You communicate well, and feel just as comfortable developing flawless written proposals as you do speaking to VIPs and senior staff. About the team
The Philanthropy & Impact team is responsible for building relationships with donors that drive financial support for education, research, and other initiatives at the University, including motor neurone research, climate change research, placement poverty, indigenous learning and more.
With the University’s 50th Anniversary in 2025, the team is in the planning stages of a campaign that will change how we approach fundraising and philanthropy. It’s a great time to join a growing team, and to make a major contribution to the incredible real-world impacts that philanthropy makes possible.
The Philanthropy & Impact team sits within the Advancement & Communications Division – a central service team that has come together from across the university to provide a best-practise marketing, communications and philanthropy service for our internal and external stakeholders.
