The first thing people notice about our school is its interesting name.
So how did Mistake Creek get its name?
Jerimiah Rolfe, who is one of the first people to settle in the area, named Mistake Creek after making a mistake about the location of his station. Rolfe believed that his station was on the Belyando River, but he soon learned that it wasn't, rather it was off a tributary. As a result of this mistake, he named this tributary Mistake Creek.
About the Role: Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

Active participants in life long learning and ongoing professional development. Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
