About the Role We are looking for an innovative and engaging Process Engineer to join our Production Team at our North Shore Mineral Separation Plant (MSP), located right on Koombana beach in the heart of Bunbury. The Process Engineer is an integral part of the Production team and is responsible for providing daily technical support and short-term technical improvements that support the operations of the site. A key role in developing and improving our materials and processes to meet the demands of our customers and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize material properties, enhance manufacturing processes, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise Reporting to the Production Manager your key responsibilities will include: Production and process optimisation Metallurgical accounting (daily, weekly monthly) Supporting the Production Manager with technical analysis, trouble-shooting, monitoring and process/ product efficiency Support and management of production data and databases Develop and implement new metallurgical processes to improve product quality and efficiency. Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, including root cause analysis and process optimization. Identifying anomalies within the process control instrumentation Communicating and engaging with stakeholders Confident in managing production data and databases To be successful in your application, you will ideally possess: Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical/ Process Engineering or another relevant discipline; 3-5 years post graduate experience in process engineering, ideally gained within a similarly complex fixed plant environment Strong working knowledge of Australian standards Collaborative with excellent stakeholder engagement skills Team oriented, process, and results focused with a demonstrated track record in facilitating change and achieve results.
