Do you want to see mental health care delivered in a different way?Ramsay Mental Health is excited to be collaborating with Alfred Health and Goulburn Valley Health to provide the Women's Recovery Network (WREN).This is an opportunity to be involved in innovative ground-breaking service delivery for the Victorian mental health sector!About the Women's Recovery Network (WREN)WREN is an innovative service developed in response to the Royal Commission recommendations for partnerships between the public and private sector, and the need for gender segregation and sexually safe recognise that women experiencing mental ill-health have specific needs that differ from their male counterparts that require tailored treatment and support.Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, the clinic is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 74 Australian sites employing over 30,000 can read more about the WREN here: the RolesIn these roles, you will be working in a NEW venture providing mental health care and support for women, in a dedicated public-private partnership.This is a state-wide service providing care to women from across Victoria through both inpatient and hospital-in-the-home these roles you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including consumer and carer peer workers, medical, nursing, and allied health. Your role will include providing individual and group interventions to participants at wren including participants within our speciality areas of perinatal mental health and eating disorders. Your responsibilities will also include:Collaborating with Consumers, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide care that supports woman's mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery.Fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all women.Offering education and support to Woman and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care a senior psychologist your role will also include providing supervision and support to staff and students.Your Skills and ExperienceCurrent full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority (AHPRA)Appropriate post-graduate qualification (Masters or Doctoral Degree) in psychologyBoard Approved Supervisor (Grade 3 Senior Psychology Role)Special interest in women's mental health including perinatal mental health and/or eating disordersExperience working within a mental health inpatient settingKnowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practiceExperience facilitating group therapy using evidenced based psychological therapiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environmentWhat's in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
