About the role:
Belmont Hospital is on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team in a day surgery setting, where they will support patients through their perioperative journey and deliver excellent patient care. Belmont Hospital has 4 Operating Theatres and is staffed Monday to Friday, shifts are staggered with the earliest shift starting at 0700 and the latest commencing at 1130 finishing at 2000 hrs, with the occasional overtime.
Our dynamic education team offer nursing education and training sessions enabling staff to develop core nursing skills, while also providing opportunity for the development of advanced specialty skills contextual to practice. Clinical Nurse Educators are available to provide point of care education and support enabling the implementation of best practice. Ongoing professional development is paramount aligning with our commitment to innovation and quality improvement. Our successful candidate will be supported in this role by the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educators, Clinical Care Coordinator and fellow senior staff in the Day surgery Unit. They will be provided with an orientation day and supernumerary shifts once employment is commenced.

Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Recent experience within a Day Surgery unit and/or a surgical ward
