Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Mount Barker District Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Maternity Services Indicative Total Remuneration: $105,155 - $170,687 p.a. - MDP2 Temp F/T (up to 3/1/2025, over a 7 day roster) OverviewYou will be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to the Maternity Department at the Mount Barker District Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Under supervision, you will manage outpatient planned and emergency presentations, attend antenatal clinics, and manage acute and elective births in consultation with Midwives, GP Obstetricians and Consultant Obstetricians. You will also attend the IUD insertion clinic and Early Pregnancy Unit weekly for management of miscarriages and termination of pregnancies, including the opportunity to upskill with ultrasound training. As part of your role, you will attend gynaecology operating lists (six per month) and contribute to the management of post operative gynaecology ward patients. It is expected that you will participate in a roster that may involve evenings and weekends. Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community.
