YOUR NEW ROLE
As a KEY sales/business development professional, reporting to the CEO/founder, you will love the freedom and autonomy to exercise your sales creativity and ‘get out there’ to develop new business (90%)+ maintain existing client relationships (10%).
You will enjoy the full-spectrum variety engaging in:
- Various business development activities to source new customers (including cold calls, seeking referrals from clients, following up leads from the company’s advertising/website channels, etc)
- Product demonstrations to customers of existing and new products;
- Delivering products/marketing materials upon request from customers;
- Visiting and engaging with customers within your geographical territory on a regular basis to maximise revenue spend per customer and maximise sales revenue;
- Researching the relevant market, educating yourself and analysing market/consumer demands/trends, competitors, pricing etc to become a sales expert in this organic exotic fruit niche.
You will have your own territory-Sydney suburbs+Sydney CBD+ Wollongong/Central Coast/Newcastle. Your target prospects are businesses eg restaurants & cafes and retail/food shops.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- Have minimum 2 years (OR MORE) field sales (including some cold calling) experience in the food industry;
- Are ambitious & energetic with a passion for food+health+ adding positive value to others;
- have proven ability to connect with people and build strong long-term relationships;
- are an outstanding communicator/listener & negotiator with the ability to influence and handle objections;
- are highly self-motivated, organized, goal driven & commercially minded;
- are computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel).
- have a valid current driver’s licence and willing & able to travel across Sydney suburbs daily and occasionally to the Central Coast/Wollongong/Newcastle (essential).
