As a Safety & Security Officer you will be joining a high performing team responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for all employees, visitors and patrons of The Star Sydney. You will be required to conduct patrols of the property as well as report any security related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences or activities, whilst monitoring the entry of people to site and providing information and assistance to patrons as required.
A few of your responsibilities
Working closely with the Surveillance team to proactively identify and report illegal & undesirable behaviour Comprehensive entry point vetting as well as hotel, retail, bars, and event security duties Monitoring and assisting with Responsible Services of Alcohol Providing outstanding guest service as part of our dedication to responsible gaming What are we looking for?
NSW SLED 1AC Security Licence NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards and First Aid accreditation (or be willing to obtain) Customer service experience in fast paced/licensed venues is advantageous Flexibility to work 8 - 12 hour shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster essential Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude What can we offer you?
