My client, aLeading National Multidisciplinary Consultancywith offices all around Australia, are on the lookout for their first Electrical Engineer in the newly established Adelaide office. With a vision to grow the Adelaide office into double figures by the end of the year, this presents an exciting opportunity to establish and lead your own electrical team.
In this role, as an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading electrical design projects, managing client relationships, and providing technical expertise within our building services consultancy.
Duties:They are on the lookout for their first Electrical Engineer in the newly established Adelaide office.
Lead and manage electrical design projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional service.
Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for electrical engineering projects
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs.
Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients to expand the firm's client base.
Prepare and present fee proposals and project bids to clients, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
Develop and execute strategic plans for expanding the electrical engineering team in alignment with company growth objectives and client demands.
Mentor junior staff members, offering guidance, support, and technical expertise to facilitate their professional development and career growth within the organisation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the building services industry, preferably within the consultancy space
Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and SKM PowerTools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to client engagement.
Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative mindset, with a commitment to fostering teamwork and mentorship within the organisation.
