In response to their growth, Platinum Pacific Partners are exclusively partnering with their Sydney office to identify a Snr Associate or Vice President for their Product Management team, with a particular focus on Private Wealth.
About the role:
As an integral part of the Project Management team within Private Wealth, this role is focused on driving end-to-end fundraising projects and product management of new products and strategies that target the Private Wealth segment, a key strategic focus area for our client.
The Snr Associate / Vice President role covers the lifecycle of a product. The role will involve close collaboration with multiple teams (including Fund Strategy, Coverage, Communications, Fund Operations, Legal, Tax and Structuring, Product Development etc.) as well as external stakeholders (service providers and investors).
As part of this collaboration, the role will serve as product managers for evergreen products, providing information and documents for further use in distribution and client-facing activities, such as Due Diligence processes, RFI and ongoing marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Team Lead within Evergreen Product Management with an APAC focus and coverage
Create marketing materials for both distributors and end-clients
Lead collaboration and relationships with multiple internal and external teams across workstreams
Create decision-making materials as part of internal and external governance and senior stakeholder management
Enable the launch and be the product owner for evergreen funds as part of our client’s Private Wealth team
Ideal Background / Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience within investment banking / corporate finance / consulting / placement agent / Private Equity
A clear preference for experience from projects with / in the Private Equity industry
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Project management / deal experience
Highly capable with Excel and Powerpoint
Proven ability to effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.
Genuine interest and curiosity within alternative products and private equity
Can-do attitude and positive and entrepreneurial mindset and approach with desire to be hands-on and part of a new, innovative, and ambitious team
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, navigating complex projects with minimal supervision, and demonstrating a high degree of initiative and self-sufficiency in driving tasks to completion
