Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeCompetitive salary and three annual bonus schemes4/3 days only roster | FIFO from Perth to Port HedlandCompetitive salary and three annual bonus schemes18 weeks paid Parental Leave for primary caregiversCompany contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate familyAbout the role:The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Fixed Plant) to join them on a 4/3 FIFO roster from Perth to Port Hedland.Reporting to the Superintendent 4 to 3 Shutdowns, you'll develop the maintenance strategies that allows the shutdowns to transition from four to three shutdowns a year. This is a business-critical role playing a key part in achieving process plant, rail and port equipment reliability and availability targets, and achieving lowest whole of life maintenance costs.Duties:Complete Maintenance Strategy review through the lens of 4 to 3 shutdown transition.Identify opportunities for shutdown duration reduction.Identify engineering improvements to increase equipment service life.Develop maintenance strategy inspection check sheets.Seek opportunities to improve overall asset performance.Review current maintenance practices and identify areas for improving costs, efficiencies, and productivity.Liaise with site stakeholders throughout the process.Skills and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical EngineeringConsiderable experience in a senior technical role in the mining industry.Experience in asset management support roles such as maintenance planning, maintenance specialist or production/ maintenance leadership (desirable).Root Cause Analysis certification.Solid knowledge and experience solving maintenance problems and implementing reliability improvements in a mining operation/resources industry.Experience in developing and implementing reliability improvement programmes.Experience with SAP Master Data processes.Experience with Clue document creation tool.Experience with maintenance tactics development and improvement tools such as (Reliability Centred Maintenance, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Plant Maintenance Optimisation).Port Hedland Facilities:Modern, comfortable camp accommodationConvenient walking access to South Hedland town facilities and shopsHigh quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options)Fully equipped fitness centre facilitySWIFT In-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capabilityActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyVillage shop and extensive supporting amenitiesAbout the Company:Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.We are a company where people matter.
