If you’re Senior Environmental Planner looking to move ahead in your career, this is the role for you.
Most companies seem to hold young talent back from leadership until they’re ‘ready’ from a technical viewpoint. Problem with this is that leadership isn’t always technical ability.
So how does this work?
Technical can be taught. Drive can’t. And we are looking for someone who has a good technical grounding in Environmental Planning / Statutory Planning who wants to move more into leadership and drive a business unit along.
Work literally comes to this firm, by virtue of its 30+ year history in Victoria. Your role will be interacting with clients and helping to scope, secure and deliver projects with the wider team, completely supported from above and below.
This role sits directly below the State Lead & bridges the gap between them & the more junior consultants.
Role Overview:
Highly reputable consultancy of 150+ staff across VIC and NSW
Targeting the Environmental Approvals sector (not major EIS projects)
Background could be Statutory Planning, Council Planner, Consulting or Engineering
Firm understanding of Environmental Approval process
Projects in Victorian Alpines, Urban Developments, Residential Works for Large Land Developers, Renewables, Roads
History of nurturing young talent and promoting quickly on ability, not tenure
Very successful in launching careers, and feedback from past employees incredibly positive
Experience:
Ideally 5+ years in an Environmental Planning role with a similar consultancy.
