About the Opportunity We are seeking Senior Instrument and Control Engineer to manage all electrical and instrumentation control systems performance, standards, and long-term strategy for all the AGIG assets. This position will work closely with the Project Management Office, field maintenance staffs and vendors to ensure maintenance plans are effectively met. This is a permanent full-time position based in Perth CBD with requirement of site travel as needed.
Senior Instrument and Control Engineer is a lead role that forms part of the DBNGP Transmission Asset Management team and reports to the Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the Instrumentation and Control systems requirements of the Asset Management Plan Direct the PMO and its engineering resources through design and construction to ensure Instrumentation and Control systems are in accordance with specifications and standards Assist the Maintenance Teams in assessing and fault finding to ensure Instrumentation and Control systems are operated at the required level of reliability of performance Responsible for the design, standards of construction and commissioning and the in service functionality and integrity of all Instrumentation and Controls Systems Development and implementation of inspection plans and conduct of technical audits Review and provision of technical advice on new projects About You Bachelor of Engineering degree (specialising in Instrumentation and Control) Experience in design, construction, operation and maintenance of instrumentation and measurement systems, preferably in the oil and gas sector Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite What we offer We are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 2023-2024 .
