Having already conquered the Australian market, they are now growing in the UK, with sights set on North America and then the world.Building compliance is an increasingly important part of maintaining the world's largest asset class - property - and the business vision is to make the compliance of every building in the world visible in real time, disrupting a clunky and slow-moving industry while having an outsize positive impact on the world.With 500+ customers and a 99% retention rate. Over 1million+ buildings and nearly 10 million assets are maintained using the B2B Saas product yearly and their goal is to double in size in FY22/23, largely through international expansion into the NZ and UK markets.The business recently received a significant investment round from Accel-KKR. This investment and partnership will enable them to fuel their international expansion, grow their customer success capabilities and accelerate their ambitious product roadmap.About the Role Uptick is seeking an exceptional and experienced Senior Product Manager to run our product function as we continue to scale abroad.The Senior Product Manager will report directly to the CEO, and work alongside a fantastic CTO and large engineering team. You'll need to be comfortable executing, and have a good understanding of technology – what's easy, and what's not.The Product Manager will need to get deep with our customers and prospective customers, understanding their hopes, dreams, bugbears and delights. You'll need to build a product engine that assimilates information from sales, marketing, implementation and success, creating an empowered product team not a feature factory.What you'll need to do To succeed in this role a candidate must be able to: Deeply understand the 'why', and guide the engineering team to deliver it. We run a lean process, with an exceptionally talented engineering team. Challenge everything until you understand the core nugget of value, ship it, and iterate until our customers are delighted. Execute on the vision, we're in scale up mode, not hunting for product market fit. We need someone who is relentless at delivering value to customers, a hands-on leader who loves building things. This is not a hands-off strategy role. Manage the backlog, tame the chaos, make the hard calls. Just because it's the top priority doesn't mean we can spend a whole sprint on it. You'll need to be able to juggle priorities and maintain pace. Tell the story. You need to understand where we're going, why we're going there, and be able to communicate with exceptional clarity to your stakeholders (customers and colleagues), both at the macro level (the multi-year roadmap) and the release level (every month). Dream big AND see small. Our customers expect great things that they can't get elsewhere, but it's the details that change the life of our users. You need to be equally comfortable in turning our big bets into reality, as you do in noticing that there's a quick win for a sucky but important widget. Lead the team of Product and Design people by guiding, supporting and developing them to deliver value for our customers. What you'll need to bring 5+ years experience in a product management position at a SaaS B2B or B2E startup/scaleup. A solid understanding and interest in product management and agile, but more importantly, battle-won experience in building great products. Experience leading other Product Managers and/or Designers.
