Senior Sales Executive and Key Account Manager Senior Sales Executive and Key Account Manager Job Description Job Title:Sales Executive Reporting to: Head of Sales Location: Blakes Cross, Lusk, Co. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have previous experience providing ongoing account support to existing corporate customers. They will be responsible for managing accounts, developing additional business from current accounts and new customers. Involved in account reviews, quoting, and dealing with enquires, following up on new leads and updating CRM system. This will be an entry level role with opportunity to progression in handling key accounts and onsite visits. It will be a key role in assisting Business Development Managers and learning from same. This driven & ambitious sales professional will also collaborate with the sales team to identify new sales leads and develop sales plans, regular reporting to update Head of Sales, conduct sales research and identify new sales opportunities and document all relevant processes and maintain sales department records. This role will provide a good grounding to further develop a career in B2B Freight sales, with progression available internally. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to named client concerns and needs. Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships. Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any new requirements and opportunities and offering solutions to same. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients. Focus is on increasing the value client through additional business wins. To develop new and existing business using both current database and other sources (Sales leads, manifests, leads from team) to support the services supplied by Ace Express Freight. Support the team in setting meetings for BDM's for potential and existing clients. Take inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs. Qualify the opportunity, and plan for progressing same. Regular planned communication with named accounts, making sure they're receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs. Report and communicate progress at regular sales meetings. Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Internship or professional experience (12 months+) in a sales or customer service role. Desire to grow and develop career in Sales and Freight Industry. Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously. Demonstrated relationship management and customer accounts management. Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, negotiation skills and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. IT Literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word. Organizational skills and good attention to detail. Self-starter and can work on own initiative WHAT WE OFFER Permanent contract.
