Position Summary We are looking for passionate, experienced, and skillful software test engineers who are driven to collaboratively solve technically challenging problems in close-knit interdisciplinary engineering teams. As the final stage of quality assurance, the test engineering team is responsible for the design and execution of performance testing to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality before being delivered to our customers. As test engineer you will be immersed in software and electronic test automation, device performance characterization, and product/process optimization. You will play a critical role in the product development full lifecycle from initial prototype to final release: evaluation, validation, characterization, qualification and production. Duties and Responsibilities: As Senior Software Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Develop, review and execute both manual and automated software-level test procedures. Create thorough test plans and manage the coordination and completion of all testing activities including regression testing Write, execute, debug and refactor test code, including: Working closely with software developers to reach a common understanding of the code base and test coverage. Designing, running, and managing effective testing techniques for both the functional features of an application as well as its non-functional parameters including speed, scalability, security, reliability, efficiency, useability, capacity, recoverability etc. Develop and implement clear quality assurance policies, plans and processes that support each phase of product development and ensure deliverables are tested to the required standard Help development and support teams reproduce issues reported by customers. Drive continuous improvement of software testing tools and quality assurance methodologies Focus on the quality of the resulting product, by ensuring all company quality processes have been complied with Promote a Shift-Left mindset, involving quality and questioning as early as possible in development. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: A qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a related field. Minimum 3 years in a similar quality assurance position. Proven experience in software development and software quality assurance. Extensive knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, strategies, tools and processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases , reports , policies , and processes. Experience in Agile-influenced product development environments. Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
