Position DetailsSt Kieran Catholic Primary School is a co-educational, double stream primary school with a strong and vibrant school community. The School has a current enrolment of 497 students from 3-Year-Old Kindergarten to Year 6 with an Education Support Unit and a Regional Early Intervention Centre for students with disabilities. The School was originally established in 1920 by The Sisters of Mercy and maintains strong links with the congregation. St Kieran Catholic Primary School is seeking a Social Media & Administration Officer to join the School community. This is a part-time (FTE Negotiatable) / 42 weeks per year, ongoing position commencing Term 2 2024. Days worked include weeks during the school term and the last Friday of each school holiday period. Hours are negotiatable. The successful candidate will run all social media for the School and advertising, as well as various administrative tasks, such as updating forms, covering other staff and first aid. Experience in a similar work environment is an advantage. Selection Criteria • Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.• Demostrate of interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students and parents.• A commitment to high work standards and work ethic.• Proven proficiency in Microsoft suite.• The initiative to organise and prioritise workloads to meet appropriate deadlines.• Attend all meetings, staff training and development sessions as directed.• Administrative support to other staff/communities required.• A demonstrated knowledge of AoS and SEQTA (preferred).* Previous Social Media advertising experience (preferred). Qualifications Required • Current First Aid Certificate (to be obtained if not held).• National Coordinated Criminal History Check, from the Department of Education.• Working with Children Screen Check.• Have completed or working towards 'Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School'.
