Sourcing & Contracts Manager
Joining our team means you'll be part of something that really matters. As our Sourcing & Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the SCG (Sourcing and Categories Group) which lead the efficient and effective delivery of sourcing and category management activities and processes within a centre-led model in line with organisational and procurement requirements that provides compliance and governance, delivers value, and manages key risks for Horizon Power.
Your role will include: Responsible for strategic works, high risk or procurement activities that exceed $1M or high risk or sensitive in nature or part of a program/project (if relevant) in total contract value. Provide advisory services to support all other engagements and responsible for all queries and service request for the Divisions. This includes supporting procurement and contract management activities including source to contract activities (i.e. business case development, procurement documentation and development) and contract management activities (annual reviews, contract management documentations, claims and disputes). Stakeholders' engagement to understand their business plan, related procurement and contract management activities and responsible for engaging regularly with stakeholders to establish collaborative working relationships that are focused on identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Responsible for supporting business-wide training, coaching, and mentoring of the business (including but not limited to category management, sourcing, contract management and supplier relationship management) processes, systems, frameworks, best-practice. Develop and support a high performing team, encouraging development and improving effectiveness, with a focus on coaching and training. You will have: A degree and or professional qualification in law, finance, management, economics, commerce or an equivalent discipline is essential. WA Driver's License Class C or C-A is essential. Procurement knowledge particularly from a Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Management perspective Effective written and oral communication Highly motivated and proactive individual, comfortable working autonomously in a complex environment. High level proficiencies with MS Office systems (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and Procurement Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ellipse) Contract law knowledge and understanding of legislative obligations.
