The Opportunity
Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for providing high levels of product availability at lowest effective cost through the development and execution of a valid product supply plan. Whilst maintaining inventory inside Sigma's inventory policy.
Identifying and delivering solutions to at-risk inventory through an analytical and collaborative approach, whilst providing information and feedback to the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the forward supply plan by ensuring that the demand plan and customer service levels are met, while also ensuring inventory is within agreed levels.
- Own the maintenance of all supply planning inputs in the SAP and SAP IBP systems.
- Generate purchase orders by exception.
- Assess current inventory levels and forecasts to make appropriate business decisions that minimize costs and achieve working capital and service level objectives.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers and or products in line with key customer.
We are looking for:
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical Wholesale, FMCG or similar industry across a large and varied product profile range
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software
- Knowledge of one of SAP/APO or SAP/IBP, or other software related to demand planning
- Exposure to, and a deep understanding, of the Sales and Operations planning process
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills
- Excellent communication kills written & verbal
