The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient candidate to be our TAFE Services Coordinator at the Griffith campus. Griffith is a tight-knit community, and this role will suit someone with strong stakeholder engagement and contacts in the local area.
As a TAFE Services Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with local functional areas to deliver excellent customer service experiences to optimise community engagement. On a day-to-day basis, you may find yourself managing accommodation requests, supporting campus emergency management and working closely with the local facilities management team to set up events. This is a campus-based role and successful candidates will be required to work onsite.
About you
Applying your high level of customer service and can-do attitude, you are motivated and engaged to coordinate and facilitate on the ground services. You have demonstrated experience in establishing relationships and networking with various stakeholders and can build a good rapport with your colleagues and community. You have excellent negotiation and communication skills. You are technologically savvy with sound experience within Microsoft Office Suite. Working independently, you are a self-starter and results driven team member who can problem solve whilst managing competing priorities.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:
• Diploma (or above) in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience
• Demonstrated success in building rapport with a wide range of people
• Demonstrated success in monitoring and delivering services that meet customer needs
