ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is a Sports Trainer position with the Coates Talent League regions working young athletes within the boys and girl’s programs. This role is responsible for supporting the Regional Talent Operations lead with the delivery of sports trainers’ services both at training and on match days.
Sports Trainers form part of our highly valuable High Performance/Medical and Physio team which offers get great experience working with medical professionals.
This is a casual role based in the Country Victoria region.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
Key Accountabilities:
- Massage, hydration, strapping, injury prevention and management duties at training sessions and on match days.
- Assist with training sessions & match days held by the Coates Talent League as required and rostered.
- Assist with player rehabilitation under supervision of the medical team.
- Liaise with program management and coaches.
OUR IDEAL TEAM MEMBER
Core Competencies:
- Level 2 Sports Trainers Qualification (or in the process of completing)
- Level 1 First Aid.
- Available to work weekends & evenings
