The Telephony Service Manager will lead and manage telecommunications and switchboard resource at an operational level and provide direction and support for the operation of the SCHHS telecommunications and switchboard teams within a large and complex HHS to ensure defined service levels are met efficiently and effectively.Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.The SCHHS is a values-based organisation. We respect, promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include: The manager is responsible for the management and development of the SCHHS Telecommunications and Switchboard team to ensure: 24x7 health service wide switchboard services are providedEnd user telephony requirements are fulfilledTelephony and switchboard incidents are managed to a successful conclusionStakeholders (including vendors) are partnered with to deliver optimum solutions in a sustainable manner Provide high level HR, budgetary and leadership expertise, decision making and support in a large complex environment by interpreting and complying with departmental standards, policies, procedures and health service processes.Provide support to the Telecommunications Administration Coordinator (Rostering) to operationalise the 24/7 Switchboard staff roster with understanding of the union approved roster, operational need, staff training and equity and consideration for budgetary and industrial requirements.Lead significant HR projects, including the review of business practices and initiatives aligned with SCHHS telecommunications business needs. Remuneration value up to $161 718 p.a., comprising salary between $132 072 - $141 738 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7).
