We currently have vacant positions in Perth Metropolitan area, South-West/Great Southern, Goldfields, Kimberley Pilbara and Gascoyne Murchison Regions.
We are seeking to establish a pool of suitable applicants for short term contract opportunities (up to 12 months) in our Customer Service roles across Magistrates Court and Tribunals in WA.
About the role
The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing quality customer service to all internal and external customers. They provide an advisory service to all customers in relation to the practices and procedures specific to each jurisdiction and in some areas provide direct support services to the Judiciary.
The positions undertake a range of case management, information management and customer service tasks within a court registry setting for civil and criminal jurisdictions and can provide in court support to the judiciary. Applicants must be able to learn how to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures within the business areas they are employed.
You will be required to attend to enquiries either in person or by telephone; assess and process applications; lodge documents into the court database; liaise with the public, legal counsel, and court users; prepare and check legal documents.

Eligibility
Regional applicants must have a C Class Drivers Licence and ability to travel on light aircraft.
To be eligible for a casual or fixed term contract you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.
